The purpose of Cub Scouting is to help develop boys’ character, train them in outdoor survival skills, promote citizenship and personal fitness, and HAVE FUN!
Cub Scouting is a FAMILY program that supports family values -- do your best; be honest; duty to family, God, and country -- and family involvement.
Pack 146 has active Dens in every grade level from 1st through 5th grade: Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade) and Webelos (4th and 5th grades). Den Leaders schedule, plan, and run den meetings, which typically are held a couple of times each month.
Pack 146 Activities are held approximately monthly and are open to the entire family.
Fun and interesting Pack activities have included: Halloween Creepy Family Camp Out, Overnight Lock-in at the Museum Center, Weekend at Cub World Scout Camp, Christmas Caroling, Pinewood Derby, Spaghetti Dinner, Orienteering, Reds Games, Fishing, First Aid, Neighborhood Clean Up, and Festival Ring Toss Booth.
