One Saturday, every other month (minus December) a group of 5 students and 2-3 parents will provide breakfast (bring the ingredients, cook, serve, and clean up) for the guests at the kitchen.
CAIN: Churches Active In Northside: http://www.cainministry.org/
Once a month, on a weekday evening, a group of 6 students will go to CAIN’s center in Northside. The students will do one of three things; some will help stock the food pantry, some will help clients shop, and some will help in the kids corner playing with clients’ children while the clients’ shop.
The student’s meet at St. Mary and return to St. Mary for pick-up by their parents. One parent is needed each month to transport and chaperone.
MEAC: Madisonville Education and Assistance Center: http://meaconline.org/
The center needs help restocking their food pantry after school on weekdays, they also have opportunities for helping plan holiday parties, assembling weekend backpacks of food for children, and helping decorate and fill bags for Halloween.
